Reading Friends
Delivered in partnership with the Reading Agency, Reading Friends brings people together to read, share stories, meet new friends and have fun.

Rhymetimes - Storytimes
Babies, toddlers and their parents or carers can have fun singing, playing musical instruments and learning rhymes in our libraries. These events are free of charge.

IT for you
Need help with an important task using a computer? Or maybe you want to learn how to use a computer? Free help is at hand at your local library.

Games
We hold Open Games Sessions in our libraries. A selection of games are available to play, from Scrabble to Pass the Pigs! All ages welcome. No need to book just drop-in and play! Or join one of our organised board games days at Eastbourne Library - 11am-2pm every Saturday starting 7th June 2025.

Homework and Activity Club
Homework and Activity Club for primary aged children (5-11 years.) Children and families will get support to complete their homework from our trained volunteers. There is a fun activity at the end of each session, including Lego challenges, coding games, craft and more.
There is no need to book, although spaces are still limited.

East Sussex Community Information Service (ESCIS) is a database of community information and events.
It is a free resource for everyone. Free to list and free to use.

Many of us have brilliant ideas for businesses that we haven’t acted on and the Sussex Business & IP Centre have a wealth of resources to support and inspire budding entrepreneurs to take the first step to turning their brilliant idea into a business.
Drop in to Eastbourne BIPC for more information. There is no need to book, but please feel free if you wish to receive an email reminder a few days before the event.
